Nelson Mandela

This former African President was a very nice man. Even though he was jailed for the accusation of trying to change the African policy but he was still good. Out of jail, he returned to serve his citizen to demolish the Apartheid policy. His autobiography was nice to read even though it is quite boring.

Oh, my presentation for position paper is done today. I am very satisfied that everyone paid attention to my presentation and Mr. Omid made it clear that he liked my position paper. Initially, he was quite unsure about my position paper—especially the thesis statement. But with everything in hand, I managed to do it well. I like this subject!

This is the poem that I and my group wrote when Trusty was in charged:

Mother,

I’ve had enough

Enough is enough

Things are no longer right for me

Even though everything seems to be right

I’ve had enough

I want to have my own life

The way I wanted to

Life is so unpredictable, yet it is stated

And I let the wind

To set me free

Through the window I see

What do we know?

What do we think we know?

What do we want to know?

Kim Trusty

Kim Trusty is a Canadian-Jamaican poet with a wonderful personality. She was having a good time when she arrived here in UPM especially when she took over our class that was combined with the Cohort 4 TESL. I was so excited when we managed to do some interesting activities and one of them was creating our own reflection poem based from the Lulu poem that was originally written by her. I was the person who was assigned to do the recital and it was great. But the poem was not that great (our poem). Anyway, talking about Kim Trusty, isn't she white? I found her picture in the net but that was definitely different Kim Trusty that I saw in the class. Well, I am confused!

Warhol oh Warhol!

I never understand this person. What was the thing that he really up to? All the same things that I saw in the movie was definitely making me feel dizzy. You know why? Because of the abstractiveness of the colours used in his works and all of the same things that he had. They were all the same! I remembered pictures of Marilyn Monroe--four pictures with different colours. Oh, god that was awful! And the other thing that was really obvious about his works was, he was so obsess with Campbell Soup cans! What on earth was he doing? All the pictures ranging from four in a group until hundreds counting in a group with different colours and forms. I really hate it! For me, he really is a crazy freak!

Research Paper Story

This subject has one good thing about it. It has no final exam. So final exam is actually writing a research paper. I still don't have anything in mind yet. I don't know what to write. Research is a kind of intellectual work and I am not that very intellectual enough to make a research paper. But i am trying my best to put the very best effort to ensure that i give a very good job. None of the assignments that I missed and I don't want to screw up things! That was what I want to do. It is not for nobody. It is for myself. I have to do the best for myself.
