Thesis Statement

I have learned a new thing again. An this time how to make a sentence! What sentence? It is the thesis statement. Thesis statement is actually the thing that we need to express as the first part in our position writer writing. Yeah, we need to write a position paper and I had chosen A Great Injustice for my position paper writing. I am hoping that I can give my very best effort in writing the position paper. I will not screw up things again.

The Fall of Icarus

This is a story of the old Greek Mythology written by the Greek poet, Ovid. I like this story. It has the kind of classical English translation but it is comprehensible. A story that depicts the love of a father towards his son, and some issues and conflicts that leads to tragedy. A good story to be told to the kids before they go to bed I guess? They will surely fall asleep faster.

Anyway, the gist of the story itself was definitely attracting me because of the plot and the theme expressed in the story could actually be derived through the motifs that it highlighted. As you can see from the painting I attached together with this post, there is Icarus in falling in the sea right in front of the ship (just a few yards away) with no one really cares of what had happened.

PROJECT PAPER TO WORK FOR

There it comes a new class of this semester... EDU 3234; Readings and Project Work for Literature which will be conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Malachi Edwin Vethamani. I personally have something in mind--this could be hard! In terms of doing something so called 'project' is not as easy as breaking a toohtpick. There would be a lot of research... Generate our own idea and try to differentiate few things from different angle.

I may say that this may be difficult but I am looking forward to doing this one as part of a 'routine' so called. I just need some more guidance in doing this so. It should be persistent; as I am not willing to put myself behind.

New Class

So, a new semester has now begin. I am now ready. Excuse me, what have I just said? Ready? Yeah, I hope so. Anyway, this is the first post that I am making and I hope that I can keep up writing 'constantly' enough in this new blog. I am on my final year now and almost at the top of my game. I hope I can finish this semester better than last semester. I pray...
